I can see why the people above say to get warrior skills, and yes i can see the wisdom in it. But then lets stop and think for a minute. Not everyone grows up in warrior families. Some grow up in the woods with a trapper, or in the streets with no family having to steal to survive. Look to the characters past to see to their future in his/ her calling to the gods. ALL skills can be of use to a neutral god. Hope this helps even a little. Best of luck to you.

Grab the Planning Domain for free Extend Spell Feat, take Persist Spell, and then Divine Metamagic Persist. That way you can burn through Turning Attempts to Persist spells (24 hour duration) instead of expending spell slots. Also Take Extra Turning

That should burn your 3 feats, but will increase your power level by a factor of 20. If you can pick up a Night stick or 2 that will be great as well.

Starting with an 18 CHA and a 16 WIS (increase this at 4th and beyond) you should get about 11 to 15 turn attempts a day. Use them to power up with things like Visage of the Avatar and Divine Might and the like. You should have comperable damage to a tweek up fighter as well as having alot of spells to cover areas your weak in. it works pretty well and after a few more levels you and the group will understand why the build is called CODzilla (Cleric Or Druid zilla)... because you'll dominate the combat of the game like godzilla

Grab something like a mithral brestplate +2ish (or full plate if you prefer that) and a decent weapon Perferably a +1 Screaming Mace (use magic weapon to get the enchantment higher) After that start buying stat boost items and things like that. You should work quite well.

7th level isnt quite your power curve, but you'll be set up to start completely dominating the combat aspect of the game in about 2 more levels.

Plus always remember to carry around a bag of squirrals to use with Comsumptive Field... your caster level will go through the roof and you can start casting Word of Chaos to basically kill anything that get in your way.

Of course thats a pure power build... if you want to go with something a little more character driven, i would need to know your concept behind the build

As a cleric you wear plate and can use shields, start taking fighter feats and bashing faces!
