where do you find Mesprit and whats the best way to catch it on pokemon diamond?

ive been 2 the cave it flew away, i got the pokemon finder to try and search for it, but every time i go near it, it moves away (i only use walk not fly) how do i find it? and when i find it what is the best way to catch it?

ok you need ether a master pall or a pokemon with the move mean look or block so the pokemon wont run away. then you need a pokemon with false swipe so the pokemon is left with 1 hp.

i caught mesprit by going to Jubilife city and kept going back and forth between jubilife city and route 204 (Above Jubilife City) until Mesprit appear in the grass right there up and to the left just above the water right there. to keep it from running you could use a dugtrio, trapinch with ability Arena Trap (Make Sure They Are High Lvl) or you could use a Goldbat, Crobat, Murkrow with the move Mean Look. Murkrow would be best cause it's a dark type and mesprit can't harm it with psychic moves. you also can use wobeffet with its Shadow Tag ability so mesprit still can't run. from there you should know to lower it's hp then catch it. and if you fail just reset the game and try again. (if you saved before trying to get it)

To capture Mesprit easily, You must fly to Jubilife. Then go down until you are in the middle of Jubilife and Route 202. Now you must enter and exit the city back and forth. For each time you enter and exit the city, Mesprit will move. Do this until Mesprit is close by and find him. This way, you don't have to chase him.

this pokemon is a bit tricky, move the opposite direction. Meaning?Example, When mespirit is at your left side go to right, up or down.Or she is at the right go other direction don't follow where she goes. how to trap mesprrit from runing? is use 6 Wobbuffet in your party, she got a ability call shadow tag, anything can't escape. keep on throwing ultra ball.(beware this thing is tough, i need almost 50 ultra, but depends on your luck). if you catch it with master ball, just not fun at all. And excuse me, arena trap ability can't trap mespirit becausre mespirit got a ability call levitate.

Well, it depends on mostly luck to find the exact spot where Mespirit is. You have to be precisely where the finder says it is, and when you do find it, either inflict sleep on it to prevent it from running or just catch it with a Master Ball.

Try to trap it in a place let it not be able to escape. I caught mine using the master ball i saved but if u used it already, get a golbat or another pokemon that knows mean look so it can't escape.

ok the best way to catch this from my exspeariacnce.



Go to twinleaf town and go up from there turn left when ur in that route and keep going till it says ur in the lake then go right till ur in the other route again, if you look on your map mespiret will change location every time u go into a differant route so all u need to do is keep going left and right and then it will appear in ur route then go to the pacth of grass and u should bump into it.
