Our family has our Christmas Party on Christmas Eve and this year it is in a church gym and I need some fun games for us to play. There are about 35-45 of us ranging from age 2 to age 67 and a big gym. It doesn't matter what games or what age group though I would prefer a game that incorporates everyone you can also have a game that is strictly kids or adults. Also try to give some unusual games not just traditional ones along with AN EXPLANATION OF HOW TO PLAY THEM! thx!

Whenever I have a get together we play pictionary/win lose draw.

Get a large dry erase board and markers and hang it from the wall. For clues make up your own or buy a pictionary game for the cards (you could probably find one in a thrift store cheap)

If you don't know the game it is basically like charades but drawn rather than acted out. So let's say one person draws a card that says movie- cat on a hot tin roof. They draw a cat and a roof and maybe a fire to represent hot. People on their team must guess within a set amount of time what the drawer is trying to convey. It is very fun, clean(most of the time hehe) and lots of laughs. I posted a link that gives you the basic rules of play.

We always had a big family party also. We played family password with two big groups. It is fun to see who comes up with the right word, even little kids come up with the word fast. You could gear it towards church as well. We always love balderdash as well I think you can make your own board for that one. You just need a dictionary. My kids always love that one we laugh so hard. And the little kids come up with some of the silliest answers. You can buy Balderdash and play teams like we did. Two heads are better than one. Good Luck and Have Fun! EZ
