Yes, the games are the same. It's the exact same console, but with a different form-factor. For quality used games that come with a guarantee and 90-day warranty, head over to a store called GameStop (or Babbages, or Electronics Boutique, as they both operate under the GameStop name). The newest used games will not be much cheaper than retail price, but the older games can sometimes be bought dirt-cheap. Plus, you never really want to buy used without some for of guarantee. At GameStop, you have 7 days to return the game for any reason whatsoever (even if the reason is you don't like it), and 90 days to return it if you discover a defect.

Other than that, your best bet is eBay or site like www.craigslist.com.

Yes the games are the same. One of the best places to bye them is cex or game-station. If you buy them second hand there really cheap and the only thing you have to do is get rid of the data that is on the game and it will work fine.
