which bug type should i choose in pokemon gen V?

ok in gen 5 there is some bug types which learn quiver dance. These are: masquerin, butterfree, mothim, beutifly, venomoth and dustox. Im leaing towards masquerin cos hes awsome and has a pretty cool move set but im not entirely sure and please do NOT answer unless you play pokemon CURRENTLY

Volcarona or Scolipede. Both can be devestating if used properly.

Well out if the ones you have chosen i would say either Butterfree and Venomoth



For Butterfree to use sleep powder and then set up and have focus sash as backup



Venomoth is a nice wall to use for sp def and with the help of QD it will help a lot

well volcarona is a fire/bug type which if you keep it away from rock types will be pretty damn good. It also learns its signature move fiery dance too which is a real killer. But out of the ones you listed I would definately choose the masquerain or butterfree because well as you said their movesets are pretty awesome.
