Why are CHEATS not working in POKEMON Fire Red in no$gba emulator ?

Question

I use no$gba emulator and Visual Boy as well for Pokemon fire red .
I entered the master code and The Species code for Wild Pokemon Modifier But when i go to grass i cant see the pokemon i want where may have i made the mistake
