Pokemon Platinum Team?

Question

Hi, i just recently bought Pokemon Platinum and at the moment have a Lvl 13 Turtwig (Tornado) lol.
I'm stuck on which Pokemon to find and put on my team coz i want lots of really good and fun to train pokemon on my team.

There's too many to choose from! At the moment i have a Lvl 16 Riolu (Shadow), a Lvl 17 Charmander (Firesnatch), and a Lvl 25 Lapras (Waverider) to trade from Diamond. I have a Swinub and Rhyhorn and loads more to trade but i'd rather fill up the rest of my team with my own in-game pokemon.

I just can't think which Pokemon to look for and if i should trade these Pokemon over or not. Also, have i made the right choice in starter Pokemon? Or would Chimchar have been a better choice? I'm willing to start again but i'd rather not. I don't really want Piplup coz i chose it on Diamond and i'm not really a big fan of Empoleon. But again, if it's the best decision, i'll go for it.

So could you guys suggest some good pokemon that are easy to get and fun to train?

I WAS thinking something like:

Torterra
Charizard
Lucario
Lapras
Blissey
Gallade/Weavile/Other

or

Infernape
Swampert
Lucario
Blissey/Snorlax
Roserade
Gallade/Weavile/Mamoswine/Other


But that would mean changing my team and starter etc.

Also if you can think of any really good ghost, ground or psychic pokemon and some movesets for my team that would be great.

Ah, the Pokemon question of the past 10 years. The general idea is to have a team that can take on literally any type of Pokemon. Don't listen to people who say "Rayquaza, Lugia, Dialga, Giratina, Deoxys, and Arceus," or if they're suggesting an irrational team that's nothing more than a bulldozer that can't last a second against its weakness. These people are dead wrong, as that entire team can be taken out using only two Pokemon from a team that can counter every type of attack/type. In short, build a team that can counter every single Pokemon type. As for the team? Haha, well, if I gave you a list of great Pokemon, that would defeat the point of Pokemon itself! Think, or else the game is ruined and you've gained nothing. Besides, I've given you enough hints as it is :)

You don't need to change your starter there are plenty more firetypes obtainable straight way than dp...but if you do, and need a water pokemon, i'd chose piplup (I like penguins)!



This would be my team if i had someone to trade with.

Gengar

Gallade

Electrivire/Luxray



They are all completely obtainable in the game which is what you wanted, this won't make you feel like cheating and you'll feel alot happier if you raise them from the start.

well i actually think a good team would be like a fire a grass water posion physic an flying type my team i had (starting over) torreta buziel crogunk cause he/she posion an when evloves fighting added on an a physic i was thinking of lucario he a good one all aroud type pokemon fighting in all an stariva but u have to prob get a dark type to kill physic type
