Is this a good moveset for vaporeon in fire red? If no, whats a good moveset for it?

Acid armor will make a great substitute. Vaporeon has a high sp.def and Hp. Acid armor will increase its defense making it a great substitute. Protect can be used to recover some Hp with using leftovers for two turns. leftovers recovers more HP if a pokemon has a high Hp. Like, blissey and vaporeon.

Moveset 3
Item: leftovers
Double team, Substitute/Toxic/Attract, Rest, Surf/ice beam
You can use double team in peace after using substitute. Using double team six times will make the foe almost impossible to attack.The foe's attacks will miss again and again and leftovers will keep healing you. Toxic + Rest will be useful. You'll be resting and keep using leftovers, While the foe's attack will keep missing and will suffer from poison.

If you didn't like any moveset, then what would be a good moveset for Vaporeon in your opinion and why will it be useful? But, first tell me that whats the worst moveset from my side and whats the best one.

Moveset 1: there's the something you forgot and it's that when you use the move Roar you will always move last, so you'll just be KO.d by grass/electric type moves.



Moveset 2: You need to leave one offensive move at least so make it keep surf, because that's the only move that you'll get STAB from.



Moveset 3: you still need surf instead of ice beam.



Best moveset would probably be:

Surf

Acid Armour

Rest

Double team

use acid armour first, then double team, then use rest (if hp is down) now just attac the foe with continuous surfs.

Vaporeon is a really good water Pokémon, but I would either pick a Gyarados or a Lapras, either that or teach it a water move like Water Pulse, or HM03 Surf is actually a pretty good move for water types.. also keep in mind that pretty much any Psychic or Ground type attack will One-hit-KO your Arbok. Why not evolve your Charmeleon? Charizard is really amazing.. I got to catch a Dragonair in the Safari Zone and decided to use it on my team.. I wasn't pleased with it honestly. Get rid of Leer as fast as you can. I find that if you don't have an excellent strategy, status moves are useless unless it's a slave. For example, try teaching Rain Dance to your Raichu (I think there's a TM somewhere) and if you can, teach it Thunder with a Tm (only Pikachu can elarn moves by leveling up.. Raichu can't..), and then you have a killer Electric type attack with 100% accuracy (Thunder originally only has %30) Teach Earthquake to Rydhon. Even if you aren't able to evolve it fully, Kadabra is still an amazing Psychic type. I suggest you to teach it Calm mind, Psychic and any other moves you want.
