im into pokemon x/y hardcore trying to figure it all out. im minding my own business when suddenly a trainer pops up and wants to battle. ok normal. he brings out his charizard mega y and he cast solar beam in one turn... now that I think of it... is it because he had the ability drought that solar beam didn't have to charge? if so what other special abilities bring out special moves and whatnot?.Can anyone tell me everything u can about ability's and pokemon~! I understand there are some pointless abilities out there im not a noob, but im no master by far. im a boy on Y a girl on X my friend code is

As other answer stated, the intense sunlight makes solar beam instant.

If it's raining, Thunder has 100% chance to hit instead of 75%, and ignores evasion. So does hurricane (in the sunlight it drops to 50%).

Blizzard does the same thing in hail.

In sunlight, Growth boosts stats twice as fast. Synthesis heals 2/3 HP instead of 1/2 (heals 1/4 HP in any other weather)

That's correct.

Drought made it sunny, and the 'intense sunlight' weather condition lets you use Solar Beam instantly without charging.

Ever since sunlight was a weather condition in pokemon solarbeam does not take a maove to charge.

Because his ability is Drought which increases the intensity of sunlight and solar beam requires sunlight and when the intensity of sunlight is increased Solar Beam does not take an extra turn to charge.
